Micah Parsons’ brother throws shade at Cowboys after defense struggles massively in SNF loss to Giants

Micah Parsons’ brother, Terrence, aimed a dig at the Dallas Cowboys after their 28-20 loss to the New York Giants in Week 1 of the 2026 season on Sunday night. The Cowboys’ revamped defense struggled, allowing the Giants to run and throw with success at MetLife Stadium.

After the game, Terrence mocked the Cowboys for their loss.

“Mannn if only Micah parson was a cowboy….. yall ain’t need him right.?,” Terrence tweeted.

Micah played with the Cowboys for four years, from 2021 through 2024, establishing himself as a key player in their defense. He was traded to the Green Bay Packers in August 2025 after a breakdown in contentious contract negotiations with the Cowboys and a public trade request.

The Cowboys recorded two total sacks against the Giants, but also allowed them 394 total yards (229 passing, 165 rushing) on Sunday. New York also converted 9 of 11 third downs

The Packers suffered a 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 of the 2026 season on Sunday. However, Micah Parsons didn’t play in the game since he was on the PUP list, recovering from a torn ACL.

Last season, Parsons recorded12.5 sacks, 19 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, and two forced fumbles in 14 games for the Packers. He suffered his season-ending injury against the Denver Broncos in Week 15.

Since Parsons is on the Packers’ PUP list to begin the 2026 season, he will be out for at least three more games. The earliest that he can return to action would be in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 11.
