NFL fans brutally mock 36 y/o “corny” Taylor Swift’s high school wish for Travis Kelce in wedding vows

Pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on Friday. It was an intimate wedding ceremony with around 1,000 guests and complete privacy.

While details from the ceremony remain scarce, ‘People’ magazine on Monday published an exclusive article about one detail. According to their sources, Swift’s wedding vows moved Kelce to tears. The “Shake It Off” hitmaker also reportedly wished she had met the three-time Super Bowl champion in high school.

“Taylor talked about how Travis was the guy in high school who, even though he was the star athlete, would go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime,” one source said. “And Taylor talked about how she wished she knew someone like that when she was in high school. It was so special.”

“Travis was emotional during the vows,” another source added.

However, social media started flooding with reactions trolling Taylor Swift.

“Jeez woman grow up,” one fan commented.

“The woman is pushing 40 and she just can’t get over high school. She is so immature and sad that she is still has high school mentality,” another fan said.

Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023. Last year in August, the couple decided to get engaged and take the next step in their relationship.

Dave Portnoy shares his thoughts on Taylor Swift’s and Travis Kelce’s married life

After the wedding, there has been a narrative going on that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will end up divorced very soon. On Monday’s episode of “Wake Up Barstool,” Dave Portnoy discussed this narrative.

While discussing not receiving an invitation to the wedding, Portnoy defended the couple and refuted the divorce narrative.

“I’m a Swifty,” Portnoy said. “I did not get the invite. … I’m not sure if Travis Kelce (likes) me. I really hateed his guts when people compared him to Gronk (Rob Gronkowski). I thought it was disrespectful to Gronk.

“I don’t know what’s going on at this wedding, and if you’re a Taylor Swift person or fan, she’s always been very private, right up to this Kelce thing. She married a meathead, and I, by the way, I think this thing’s gonna last. I think they’re really in love.”
