Paulina Gretzky flaunts her gift from husband Dustin Johnson which came with 3-word message

NHL legend Wayne Gretzky’s eldest daughter Paulina Gretzky melted hearts on social media Friday when she shared a glimpse of a romantic gesture from her husband, LIV Golf superstar Dustin Johnson.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 37-year-old model, singer and actress posed in a mirror selfie behind a bouquet of white roses set on a table in the couple’s home. Tucked into the arrangement was a small card bearing a three-word message from her husband:

“I love you – Dustin.”

The gesture is all the more sweet given that Johnson is currently thousands of miles away competing at the Aramco LIV Golf Singapore tournament at the prestigious Sentosa Golf Club, which runs from March 12 to 15. Johnson as captain of his 4Aces GC team will be looking to build on a strong recent run.

Just last weekend at the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong, Johnson closed out the individual competition with a 5-under 65 on Sunday, finishing tied for 24th. His 4Aces GC squad claimed the team title snapping a drought that had stretched to nearly 974 days without a team victory.

Paulina Gretzky is Dustin Johnson’s biggest supporter per LIV golf star

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson got engaged back in August 2013 and exchanged vows in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony at Blackberry Farm, a luxury resort in the Great Smoky Mountains near Knoxville, Tennessee. Together they share two sons, Tatum born in January 2015 and River born in June 2017.

Paulina has spoken candidly about the realities of life with a touring professional.

“The example I set for my kids with Dustin is we have to do it together,” she told KIND Magazine. “We’re not always on the same page, but we trust each other enough so that I know he’s doing right by our children and he knows I’m doing right by our kids. It was funny seeing the kids realize who their dad is, and who my dad is, but we don’t want them to be raised differently.”

Johnson himself has been equally open about how much he leans on his wife.

“She’s such a big supporter of mine,” he has said. “I’ve spent a lot of time away from home, or at the golf course, or traveling on the road, whatever it is. So you need that special person, especially with the kids, she does a great job taking care of everything else, so all I got to do is worry about golf.”

For her part, Paulina has also reflected on her own journey beyond the spotlight. She admitted that it took her some time to find what she wanted to be doing but she is content with her life.
