CM Punk recently snubbed a rising WWE Superstar by saying that he won’t make it big in the company. The Best in the World’s comment comes days after Dominik Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to John Cena on the November 10, 2025, episode of RAW.
CM Punk was invited to the Mostly Sports With Mark Titus and Brandon Walker podcast, where he was asked if Dirty Dom is a future WWE giant. Punk immediately said no without hesitation. Instead, the World Heavyweight Champion questioned the host why he liked Mysterio, but received no answer.
Thanks for the submission!
“No… Why?… See, you don’t even know,” he said.
This was a rather unexpected statement from Punk, especially since he had admitted to being close with the 28-year-old. Additionally, while on Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls show, The Second City Saint even admitted that he liked The Judgment Day member and was mentoring him as well.
CM Punk thinks Bron Breakker is an unstoppable force
While CM Punk doesn’t think that Dominik Mysterio will become a future icon, he sees Bron Breakker in that light.
Speaking on the same podcast, The Straight Edge Superstar noted that nobody can stop The Unpredictable Bad**s’ momentum even if they tried.
“Whether I like it or not, he’s somebody that I think you wouldn’t be able to stop if you tried. He’s got all the tools. Second-generation superstar. His dad and his uncle were possibly one of the greatest tag teams of the ’80s and the ’90s. So yeah, he’s one of those blue-chip prospects that we always like to talk about,” Punk said.
Breakker is one of the key enemies of The Second City Saint right now. The former two-time Intercontinental Champion took Seth Rollins down after The Visionary injured his shoulder in his pursuit to defeat Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship.
As a result, Rollins had to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. However, while Breakker had his eyes on the title, Adam Pearce barred him from competing for it, and now CM Punk is the holder. It will be interesting to see if The Dog of WWE gets a shot at the title in the future.
